Social Studies Come Alive!
If you’ve got older students, try the
challenge of our 8-Acre "Candidates in the
Corn" Maze. With this option your students will embark into the maze on a team-building module aided by
“passports” (educational trivia cards) that we’ve designed to test
your students’ maze-conquering abilities, all while
encouraging teamwork. After the maze, we will make
Social Studies come alive for students as we discuss the
voting process and have the students cast their ballots
for the candidate of their choice.
INCLUDES:
-
"Candidates in the Corn" maze.
-
Team Building Events
-
Educational
lesson on the voting process

Votes cast
by the students in a voting booth

Make the
Challenge more Educational!

multiple choice question with 4 possible answers on a
topic of your choice (for example current chapter or
test review) and we will turn them into our
"passport" through the maze. Each
correct answer will yield a correct turn in the
maze. A great way to reinforce your curriculum
while encouraging cooperation!
